How to Use the Bookings Feature in SuperProfile

Detailed guide on using the Bookings feature inside of SuperProfile to offer free or paid 1-on-1 sessions to your audience.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What is the Bookings Feature?

The Bookings feature in SuperProfile allows you to offer 1-on-1 sessions directly through your profile. You can set up coaching calls, consulting sessions, AMAs, or any type of 1-on-1 service.

Instead of stitching together tools like Calendly, Zoom, and a payment gateway, Bookings combines everything in one place: scheduling, payment, reminders, and customer management.

This makes it ideal for creators, coaches, and consultants who want to:

  • Offer discovery calls or paid consultations.

  • Automate scheduling without back-and-forth messages.

  • Get paid upfront and avoid no-shows.

  • Manage sessions and customer data inside the same dashboard they already use for products and audience.

Setting Up Bookings for the First Time

To set up the Bookings feature, go the "Your Apps" section in navigation bar on the left and click on "Bookings".

If you don't see the "Bookings" button, click on the "Explore all apps" button on the navigation bar and turn on the "Offer 1-on-1 Session" toggle.

When you arrive on the Bookings page for the first time, you’ll be guided through a step-by-step setup:

1. Connect Your Google Account

  • Click Connect Google Account.

  • Log in with the Google account you want to use. SuperProfile will sync with your Google Calendar and Google Meet to automatically create meeting links.

2. Set Your Availability

  • Select the days you’re available (e.g. Mon–Fri).

  • Set start and end times for each day.

  • You can even add multiple time windows (e.g. 9–11 AM, 2–5 PM) by clicking on the "+" button.

  • Choose your time zone so customers see accurate slots.

  • Click "Next Step" when you're ready.

3. Customize Your Booking Page

  • Add your Display Name and Tagline.

  • Upload a profile picture.

  • This information will show up on your Bookings page, which is what your audience will see when booking a call with you.

  • After filling in all details, click "Set up".

4. Curated Sessions

SuperProfile suggests a few default sessions (like Discovery Call, Ask Me Anything, Personal Coaching) to help you get started quickly. You can keep them, edit them, or delete them.

Understanding the Bookings Dashboard

When you open the Bookings app, the dashboard is divided into four main spaces:

1. Tabs at the Top

  • Bookings: See all your scheduled calls (Upcoming, Important, Recurring, Completed, Cancelled).

  • Sessions: Manage the different types of calls you offer (e.g., Discovery Call, Coaching).

  • Responses: See customer form responses and booking details.

  • Settings: Control payment, reminders, and session defaults.

2. Bookings List (Main Area)

  • This is where all booked sessions appear. You’ll see details like the customer’s name, session type, date, and status.

3. Stats Panel (Right Side)

  • Total Bookings: Number of sessions booked.

  • Amount Earned: Revenue generated from paid bookings.

  • Total Views: How many people have viewed your booking page.

  • Conversions: Percentage of people who booked vs. viewed.

4. Sharing Widget (Bottom Right)

  • Quick access to your Booking Page link.

  • Share directly across platforms (socials, email, etc.) so customers can book instantly.

  • You can even generate an embed link to embed your bookings page in your website.

Creating or Editing a Session

You can create new sessions or edit existing ones directly from the Sessions tab.

To create a new type of session, go to Sessions tab and click on "New session".

To edit an existing session, just click on the three next to its name and choose "Edit".

This opens the Session Setup window, where you can configure your session in detail. The setup is organized into three tabs:

  • Details → Configure how your booking page looks and what information is shown to customers.

  • Rules → Define the booking rules, such as buffer times, notice periods, and slot intervals.

  • Settings → Manage additional preferences like reminders and notifications.

Let’s go through each tab one by one.

Details Tab: Configuring Your Session

The Details tab is where you set up everything that customers will see on your booking page. Each field helps you define how your session looks and works.

  • Session Title

    • The name of your session (e.g., Discovery Call, Coaching Session).

    • Keep it short, clear, and descriptive.

    • You can also add an emoji to make it stand out.

  • Duration

    • Choose how long the session will last (in minutes).

    • Typical examples: 15 minutes for intro calls, 30–60 minutes for coaching.

  • Cover Image/Video (Optional)

    • Add a thumbnail or intro video for your session.

    • Supported: image (1280x720 recommended) or links from YouTube/Vimeo.

    • Helps make your page more engaging.

  • Short Description

    • A quick one-liner about your session (max 120 characters).

    • Appears right below the title to give customers a snapshot.

  • Full Description

    • A detailed explanation of what the session covers.

    • Use formatting tools (bold, lists, links) to structure it clearly.

    • Example: “In this 30-min coaching call, I’ll help you design a content strategy tailored to your niche.”

  • Location

    • Choose where the session will be held: Google Meet, Zoom, or add a custom link.

  • Schedule

    • Select which availability schedule applies (default or custom).

    • Useful if you have different timings for different session types.

  • Recurring Session Toggle

    • Enable if this session should repeat automatically (e.g., weekly Q&A calls).

    • Customers will be able to book recurring slots.

  • Pricing Options

    • Fixed Price: Charge a one-time set amount.

    • Customer Decides Price: Let customers pay what they want.

    • Free: Offer the session at no cost.

  • Session Policy

    • Define reschedule/cancellation rules.

    • Example: Allow reschedules up to 24 hours before the session.

  • Ratings & Testimonials

    • Add rating and testimonials to your bookings page. Helps build trust and social proof.

Rules Tab: Defining Time and Booking Logic

The Rules tab lets you control how and when people can book your session. This is where you fine-tune availability beyond just your general schedule.

Here’s what each option means:

  • Buffer Times

    • Add extra time before or after each session.

    • Useful if you need a break between calls or prep time.

    • Example: 15 min buffer → If someone books at 10:00–10:30, the next slot won’t be available until 10:45.

  • Minimum Notice Period

    • How much advance notice you require before someone can book.

    • Prevents last-minute bookings.

    • Example: If set to 12 hours, someone can’t book a 10 AM slot at 9 AM the same day.

  • Time Slot Intervals

    • Defines the gap between available time slots.

    • Example: If set to 30 min, sessions will be bookable at 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, etc.

  • Booking Period

    • Determines how far into the future people can book your sessions.

    • Example: If set to 30 days, customers can only book within the next month.

  • Session Category

    • Organize your sessions into categories (e.g., 1-on-1 Session, Group Coaching).

    • Categories appear on your public booking page to help customers find the right session.

💡 Tip: Use these rules to design a stress-free schedule. Avoid back-to-back overload, control last-minute rush, and keep bookings organized.

Settings Tab: Additional Options

The Settings tab gives you additional options to control how your sessions work behind the scenes. Here you can manage what information you collect, what messages attendees see, and even set up advanced options like automated emails or analytics tracking.

  • Registration Questions

    • By default, SuperProfile collects name, email, and phone number from customers.

    • You can add extra custom questions (e.g., “What’s the main thing you need help with?”) to get more context before the session.

  • Session Settings

    • Terms and Conditions: Add specific policies (like cancellation or refund rules) that customers must agree to.

    • Thank You Note: Leave a personalized note that customers will see after booking.

    • Post-Booking Video: Share an exclusive video automatically after booking. Useful for welcome videos or pre-session instructions.

  • Boost Sales

    • Automated Emails → Set up email sequences that trigger on certain actions:

      • When someone books a session (confirmation + nurturing emails).

      • When someone abandons checkout (reminders to complete the booking).

    • You can customize subject lines, preview text, and email content directly inside SuperProfile.

  • Tracking

    • Meta Pixel → Connect your Meta Business account to run re-marketing ads for people who visited but didn’t book.

    • Google Analytics → Add your GA Tracking ID to monitor visitor behavior and conversion data inside your GA dashboard.

💡 Together, these options help you not just run your bookings smoothly, but also improve sales and customer experience.

Booking Experience for Your Customers

Here’s how your customers experience the booking process:

  • Open Your Booking Page
Customers visit your public booking page, which shows all available sessions (e.g. consultations, coaching, onboarding). Each session card displays the title, duration, platform (like Google Meet), and price (free or paid).

  • Select a Session
They click on the session they want to book. This opens a detailed view with your session description, available slots, and reviews/ratings (if enabled).

  • Choose Date and Time
Customers pick a date and time from your availability. Slots are shown in their local timezone for convenience.

  • Confirm and Pay (if applicable)

    • For free sessions, they just enter their email/phone number to confirm.

    • For paid sessions, they complete checkout using your enabled payment methods.

  • Receive Confirmation
As soon as a booking is confirmed:

    • You receive an email with session details, customer contact info, and a "Manage booking" link.

    • Your customer receives a confirmation email with session details, meeting link, and an option to reschedule or cancel (based on your policies).

  • Get Calendar Invites and Reminders
Both you and your customer automatically get a calendar invite with the meeting link. Reminder emails are sent before the session to reduce no-shows.

  • Submit Reviews and Testimonials

You customers can even submit reviews and testimonials for the session. They will get an email after the session to submit it. You can choose to add these reviews to your session page.

Disconnecting your Calendar from the Bookings Feature

If you’ve previously connected a calendar and no longer wish to use it, you can easily disconnect it by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your SuperProfile dashboard and click on the Bookings tab in the sidebar.

  2. Under the Settings tab, click on Calendar.

  3. Find the connected calendar and click the 🗑️ Delete icon to disconnect it.

Your calendar is now disconnected from SuperProfile. You can continue managing bookings manually or reconnect a new calendar at any time.
