Setting up payments on SuperProfile is simple with Stripe, a secure and globally trusted payment processor that lets you accept credit cards and other payment methods from your customers.
Follow this step-by-step guide to connect your Stripe account and begin receiving payments.
Step 1: Go to Account Settings
Log in to your SuperProfile dashboard.
Navigate to the Settings tab.
Click Account Settings.
Step 2: Open the Payments Tab
In Account Settings, switch to the Payments tab.
Click the Connect button to begin linking your Stripe account
Step 3: Enter Your Stripe Email
Enter the email address associated with your Stripe account.
Click Submit to proceed.

Make sure to use the email linked to your existing Stripe account. If you don’t have one, you’ll be prompted to create it during this flow.
Step 4: Add Your Business Information
Choose from your existing saved businesses, or select Create New.
If you're creating new business info - select your location and business type:
Choose Company if you’re officially registered.
Choose Individual if you're operating as a solo creator or freelancer.
Step 5: Verify Personal Details (For Individuals)
If you selected “Individual”:
Enter your identification details (e.g., last 4 digits of SSN in the US).
Stripe uses this info for regulatory compliance.
🔐 Your information is encrypted and kept completely secure by Stripe.
Step 6: Enter Business Details
Fill in the following:
Your industry
A link to your website or SuperProfile
A short description (2–3 lines) of your services
Step 7: Add Payout Bank Account
Choose your payout account where SuperProfile earnings will be sent.
Select from the listed banks, or
Enter your bank details manually
Step 8: Add Public Business Info
This info will appear on:
Payment statements
Invoices
Customer receipts
📌 Make sure this matches the business name you shared earlier.
Step 9: Optional Preferences
You may see options to opt into:
Stripe Climate Commitment
Sales Tax Automation
These are optional. You can skip them now and manage them later in Stripe settings.
Step 10: Review & Submit
Review all the details you’ve entered
Fix anything marked as Information Required by clicking Edit
Once everything looks good, click Agree and Submit

Your Stripe account is now connected to SuperProfile. You’re ready to receive payments and give your customers a seamless checkout experience.
