Overview

Account Settings is how you configure your SuperProfile account. It’s where you manage your personal details, connect payment accounts, upgrade your subscription, enable integrations, and set up notifications.

This article will walk you through where to find Account Settings, what each tab means, and which options are essential vs optional.

How to Access Account Settings

  • In your SuperProfile dashboard, go to the bottom-left corner.

  • Click on your name/profile.

  • A menu will appear with four options:

    • Account Settings – manage your profile, payments, billing, integrations, and notifications.

    • Feature Request – suggest new features for the SuperProfile team to consider.

    • Help Center – open the help library for guides and FAQs.

    • Sign Out – log out of your SuperProfile account.

  • Click Account Settings.

  • The Account Settings page will open, showing five tabs across the top: Profile, Billing, Payments, Integrations, and Notification.

What does each tab mean?

  • Profile → Add or edit your name, image, bio, and social links. This is the face of your account.

  • Billing → Check which plan you’re on (Free, Creator, etc.) and see your billing history.

  • Payments → Connect to payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal so you can collect payments from your customers.

  • Integrations → Link with external tools like Zapier, Mailchimp, or ConvertKit for advanced workflows.

  • Notification → Control how your customers are notified about purchases.

What’s essential vs non-essential?

Not everything in Account Settings needs to be filled out on day one. Here’s a priority breakdown:

Essential (do these first):

  • Profile: Add your name, photo/logo, and bio so your page looks professional.

  • Payments: Connect at least one payment method so you can get paid for your paid products.

  • Notifications: Enable notifications so you know when someone buys from you.

Non-essential (optional, but useful later):

  • Billing: Only matters if you’re upgrading from the Free plan.

  • Integrations: Helpful if you use external email or automation tools, but not required to start selling.

Now, let's have a detailed look at each of the tabs.

Profile Tab

This is where you set up your public-facing information.

  • Basic Info: This includes your first and last name. We use this information while communicating with you.

  • About Me Info: This information appears on your product landing pages to give visitors a glimpse of who you are.

    • Profile Image: Upload your photo or brand logo. Profiles without an image look incomplete.

    • Headline: A short tagline under your name, e.g., “Fitness Coach | Helping you lose weight.”

    • Bio: A longer description of who you are and what you offer. This helps build trust.

    • Social Media Links: Link your Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc. These links show up on your profile card.

    • Book a Session: Optional – if you offer 1:1 sessions, you can set this up.

    • Once filled in, this is how this information shows up on your product pages:

  • Sign in Information: Shows your registered email and phone number which you use to log into your SuperProfile account. You can update them from here if needed.

  • Support Channels: Add a support email so customers know how to contact you.

Billing Tab

This section matters if you want to upgrade beyond the Free plan.

  • Your Subscription: Displays which plan you’re currently on.

  • Billing History: A list of invoices and past payments. Empty if you’re still on the Free plan.

Payments Tab

This is critical if you want to sell products or services.

  • Payment Partners: Choose and connect at least one gateway – Stripe, PayPal, Paystack, or Coinbase. Without this, you cannot accept payments.

  • Default Currency: Select the currency most of your customers will use (e.g., USD, INR, GBP). This makes payments smoother and avoids confusion.

Integrations Tab

These are optional but powerful if you want to connect with other tools.

  • Zapier: Automate tasks by connecting SuperProfile to 500+ apps.

  • Google: Send emails through your Gmail account.

  • ConvertKit: Automatically add leads from SuperProfile to your email list.

  • Mailchimp: Connect your Mailchimp account for campaigns.

  • CJ Affiliate: Manage affiliates and track commissions.

Notification Tab

Control how your customers are updated about their purchases.

  • Notify my contacts about Purchases: Choose to notify customers when they buy something. You can enable Email, WhatsApp, or both.
